Rock wool thermal insulation
Rock wool is manufactured by pressing resinous wool using a hot, heavy press, resulting in semi-hard and hard boards. These panels are highly resistant to heat, with an effectiveness up to 350 °C. Compact board insulation made of rock wool is widely used for thermal and sound insulation purposes owing to its high density and strength compared to pipe insulation.
Application of rock wool panel
Rock wool panels have a wide range of applications, including reducing energy losses between walls in buildings and sound absorption in recording studios, subway tunnels, conference halls, and airports to prevent vibration transmission. These panels are also used in petrochemical complexes, refineries, power plants, and industrial and construction centers.
